Megan Benson
8th Grade Science Teacher
Megan Benson is a dedicated 8th grade science teacher with five years of experience inspiring young minds to explore and fall in love with science. Known for her ability to break down complex concepts into accessible, engaging lessons, Megan thrives on helping students discover their potential during the pivotal middle school years.
She currently serves as the 8th Grade Science PLT Lead and has contributed to county-wide curriculum development for the past two summers. Megan is also pursuing her doctorate in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University, where she is deepening her expertise in integrating technology to enhance student learning.
Beyond the classroom, Megan brings her creativity to life as a social media manager for a local sewing machine shop. She and her husband enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling together. In her free time, she loves to read, sew, and explore what she affectionately calls “grandma hobbies.”
