I began teaching in 2010. I began my teaching career teaching 1st grade for several years before moving to 5th grade. I now teach 7th grade ELA and I love it! I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, a Master's in Teaching from the University of Southern California, a Specialist in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southwestern University, and I am working on my doctorate in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in English from Kennesaw State University. I am so excited for the year ahead!
