Hello, my name is Kelsey Booker. I am excited and eager to begin this school year, as it is my first year at Thomson Middle School.
I am from Mount Vernon Georgia, which is about an hour and a half from Houston County. I graduated from Georgia Southwestern In 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Middle-Grades Education. I have also obtained a Master's Degree in Middle School Mathematics.
I have a passion for teaching mathematics as well as being a role model for students and ensuring they are receiving the best education that Thomson Middle school can provide them with. I also have a passion for building positive relationships with my students, because I believe that positive relationships help everyone to be a better version of themselves.
To my students: I am very excited to have you in my class this year, and I hope to learn a lot from you this year, as well you learn a lot in my class. I am going to strive every day to support you and help you to succeed in any accomplishments/goals that you have set forth for yourself this year.
