My name is Jennifer Walton and I am a 6th grade science and social studies teacher at Thomson Middle School.  This year marks my 21st year of teaching and my 17th year at the "Big TMS"!  Just a little about myself, I was born and raised just south of Atlanta, GA and received my bachelor's degree in middle school education in 2000 from Georgia State University.  In 2003, I moved to Houston County and began teaching at Tabor Middle School, until Thomson was opened in 2004. I received my Master's degree in middle school science and mathematics from Wesleyan College in 2010 and in 2014 I completed my specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. Until now, I have taught 8th grade science for 20 years,but I am looking forward to having the opportunity to teach my favorite branch of science, Earth Science this upcoming school year!
