My name is Amanda Coggins, and I’m excited to begin another amazing school year with you! I’ve been an educator for 13 years, teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade across all subjects. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a master’s in Middle Grades Math and Science, and a specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
At Thomson, I teach 6th-grade accelerated math and 6th-grade math. I believe learning should be hands-on, meaningful, and fun—filled with projects that spark curiosity and encourage problem-solving. I’m thrilled to be part of your journey this year and can’t wait to grow and learn together.
